To our friends, family and sponsors who have followed Thrash we want to thank you for your continued support over the past 3 seasons , but this post comes with some bittersweet news to share.

For those of you who know Cooper started playing lacrosse in 2023 and Zoe loved watching the sport but due to an injury couldn't play but was able to get on the floor this past year and needless to say they have both fallen in love with lacrosse and have decided to pursue thier game knowing that they can always come back to racing. With the level of lacrosse they are hoping to play and the special teams they have thier eyes set on it is becoming alot to juggle because of this Thrash Motorsports will no longer be a race team and any racing that is done with be done as individuals moving forward in upcoming seasons.

With Cooper and Zoe closing this chapter and moving on to pursue other dreams and passions please know that you will see us (The Bowen family) around at our home tracks throughout the summers as we still have a special place in our hearts for our race family, we have made some lifelong frienships along the way and are always up to come cheer at the track when we are able and who knows what crazy idea we will come up with next. Cooper has and idea for wanting to build a truck to race and Zoe still can fit in her Jr for now but also has other options to get herself down the track as well. So the thrill for racing is still there but the team will be moving on as individuals moving forward as racing will not be the kids priority for the summer season.

Thank you to all the amazing volunteers at both Forestburg's Area 53 Raceway and Central Alberta Raceways for your continued support for the kids you have been fantastic and made every weekend great!

We had an amazing day 2 and 3 at Central Alberta Raceways at their last race weekend of the season. Sunday the boys and Zoe had a great day. Gage had an amazing light placing 1st seat going into elimination rounds getting a bye to the second round. Jace and Zoe ended up racing each other in the first round but Zoe was sleeping on the tree and Jace came out with a win that round.

Sunday they were all determined and again Gage had another great light on his second test hit placing first going into eliminations with him and Zoe racing for a bye to the finals but Zoe cut a light and came out on top. And Zoe won the day. But a fun fact about Zoe racing Sunday is she raced Coopers car! Her and dad did the necessary adjustments and she killed it!

Chris went rounds on Sunday and ended the day with several bragging rights. He won the Pro class, best burnout and best package.

We will be finishing off our season at Forestburg's Area 53 Raceway next weekend and can't wait to see everyone!

Day 1 update : Zoe had great test hits this morning and we can always count on her car to be consistent so it's up to her with her reaction times. She placed 4th in the ladder going into eliminations and decided today was the day to make rounds. With a hiccup in the bye round we quickly got her fixed and she won in the final round. Dialed in at a 8.59 and ran a 8.60. With her brother by her side every pass he was sure to cheer her on from the sidelines.

Tomorrow we know there are at least 3 more Jr's for competition so if everyone stays that raced today our car count is going to be 9.

Guess what race friends..... Team Thrash is at Central Alberta Raceways this weekend for 3 days of racing.

Zoe and Chris will be representing the team tomorrow and then Gage and Jace will be here Sunday and Monday.

If you are looking for something to do come out to the race track in Rimbey, the weather looks beautiful and what a great way to enjoy one of the last warm weekends of summer.

Chris, Gage and Jace had a pretty great weekend. Blue made consistent passes all weekend, and the boys made rounds. The air was perfect and kept changing Saturday and all the cars were running faster than expected. Jace came in second on Sunday taking out most of the heavy competition.

Friday night Cooper took mom's truck down the track as he has outgrown his JR and finding another way down the track. The kid is a natural, with a few pointers from Chris they cleaned up his reaction time and he went out on a high note with his last pass of the night with a 0.01 reaction.

Zoe sat patiently in the stands watching and analyzing Cooper Friday night and is eager to get down the track next weekend.

Check us out at Central Alberta Raceways for Sept long weekend as we close out our season in Rimbey as a full team. As well Forestburg's Area 53 Raceway the weekend of Sept 7-8.

Well race fans. Sorry it has been a while but our whole team has been on the go for months. Lacrosse has finally come to a small break with Cooper and Zoe on weekends, and Gage and Jace have been great little pit crew for Chris as they went on their race adventures with Miles of Mayhem as well as down to Montana while Blue got a taste of racing in the states.

Catch the team at the track over the next 3 weekends. See you soon race family.
