In all my years of machining engine blocks, first time I've seen one this bad. This is a c15 lower bore, bored out for a sleeve, the cavity is still more that 1/8 inch deep.

All good after sleeve is installed though, its hidden and sealed off.

Blew out the head gasket twice and protrusion was good. Finally pulled liners, one low spot. It will be better than new ...
