The Polaris 800 engine found in the RZR and Ranger from 2008-2014 has a common issue of the exhaust manifold splitting in the center.
The common symptoms are typically backfiring on deceleration and increased exhaust noise.
Welding them has proved to only be a temporary solution, always cracking again near the welds rather quickly.
The best solution is replacing the manifold with a new one!
