About the Opportunity
We are hiring Class 1A Instructors to support the growing demand for high‑quality commercial driver training in Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for experienced Class 1A drivers looking for a stable, home-at-night and weekends career shift, as well as currently certified instructors seeking a new opportunity. No previous instructor experience required. Qualified Class 1 drivers who meet SGI eligibility requirements may complete instructor certification with our support.
You will deliver instruction for the Mandatory Entry-Level Training (MELT) program and help prepare the next generation of safe, professional commercial drivers.

Required Qualifications (SGI Standards)
To be eligible for instructor certification, applicants must meet all SGI requirements:
• Valid Class 1A licence (Canada or U.S.) held for at least 3 years
• Unrestricted licence (no “M” automatic transmission restriction)
• Satisfactory commercial driving record
o Submit a 10 year commercial driver’s abstract (dated within 30 days)
• Commercial driving experience
o Minimum 5 years, 500,000 km, or 6,000 hours of Class 1A driving experience in North America
o Verified employment history on company letterhead or resume with employer contacts
• Education: Proof of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Criminal Record Check: Dated within 30 days from local law enforcement
• English Proficiency: Required for instruction and MELT program delivery

• Represent the school with integrity and strong communication skills
