Flat Out Tire Ltd. is seeking a Parts Assistant for immediate hire.

We offer on the job training, competitive pay, benefits, cell phone allowance, pension plan and a friendly, supportive work environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Inventory Management: Maintaining optimal stock levels, tracking inventory, and ensuring parts are readily available when needed.
• Procurement: Sourcing parts from suppliers, negotiating prices, and managing orders.
• Distribution: Ensuring parts are efficiently distributed to relevant departments or customers.
• Supplier Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
• Customer Service: Providing excellent service to both internal and external customers regarding parts inquiries and orders.
What we’re looking for:
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of parts and their applications within the relevant industry or willingness to learn.
• Inventory Management: Experience with inventory control systems and processes or willingness to learn.
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and customers.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve complex issues related to parts and inventory.
• A positive attitude
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
• A team player who enjoys hands on work
• A valid driver’s license

Flat Out Tire Ltd. is a locally owned & operated company servicing Gull Lake and area. We pride ourselves on customer service, transparency in pricing, clear communication and a commitment to knowing our customers by name.

• Managing daily operations, including answering phones, responding to emails and in-person inquiries
• Quoting tires
• Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
• Assisting with calendar management, scheduling appointments
• Taking customer’s payments
• Filing, organizing and archiving of paperwork
• Invoicing for tire shop
• Assisting Parts Manager with mechanical invoicing
