Toronto Audio Fest 2026 — Bluewater Hi-Fi Highlights

Another great Toronto Audio Fest. Lots of great systems, interesting gear, and good people throughout the show.

A few highlights from my perspective:

Must listens: TAD, Accuphase, and especially Dutch & Dutch. Definitely worth spending some time with these systems.

Overall standouts: JBL Summit, PS Audio, QUAD, and Paradigm/JVC home theater setup was absolutely bonkers.

Angela Gilbert Yeung and MACO were also highlights.

Best value: NAD Class AB integrated amplifier with DALI bookshelf speakers. A great combination that shows you don't have to spend a fortune to get great sound.

The future: GRIMM speakers and electronics. Very impressive stuff and definitely a brand to keep an eye on.

Most creative room: The JBL Vintage Lounge. Great concept and a refreshing change of pace.

A special thank you to all the dealers, vendors, distributors, and everyone who took the time to chat. Especially those I haven't had the opportunity to work with before. It was great meeting new faces, making connections, and putting names to faces.

Always great to see so much passion for this industry. Looking forward to the next one.
