I really tried to get some of my work progress on the hut on video! I found I didn’t even think about it most of the time, because I had so much of trial and error, and hours of trying to figure out how to make things work.
I did get some of my stages of work together for you, and managed to get it into a 2 min reel! 🪄✨🧙‍♀️

Here at the Purple Hills Arts & Heritage Society downtown Creemore, Ontario with ᴀɪɴꜱʟᴇʏ ɢᴀʀʙᴜᴛᴛ ~ Artist & Founder ! So appreciative to be outside of the Flying Squirrel Motorcycle Co. (Creemore 🇨🇦) for the weekend.

The weather is absolutely gorgeous, and there is so much to see at the weekends art show!

A view of the inside!
Hagrid’s hut was a true labour of love. I knew what I wanted to achieve and it took me forever to get there.
Every shingle, panel and piece that isn’t hardware or the lighting, is all made out of leather.
I cut, tooled, dyed, painted and assembled everything with my own hands.
This is a one of a kind piece of art, that can be displayed on a shelf, or used as a bag.
Endless hours of work, mistakes, trial end error and successes with this piece.
I love how it turned out. Do you?

I finally finished it! After countless hours, repeated trial and error, more mistakes than I’d like to have had, remaking pieces and panels, and lots of determination, I made my vision come to life.
Other than the hardware and lights, this is completely made out of leather. I cut, tooled, dyed, painted every single piece of it. It was tedious and very rewarding for me to have my Hagrids hut come together as I hoped.
Yes, this could have just been a piece of art to sit on a shelf, but I make bags, so wearable art it must be!
With a light up fireplace, and a wand controlled lamp inside.
Removable and adjustable strap to use as a bold statement piece.
I will never create a bag like this again. Making it yes another one of a kind.

Time to make some room for exciting new creations that are in the works! We are doing an amazing sale, and a wonderful gift with purchase! The FIRST tooled bag sold during the sale, will receive our small acorn bag! It is hand dyed, and hand stitched with love. The remaining tooled bags, when purchased during the sale, will receive a surprise gift. There are only 3 tooled bags in total. 🩵The Harmony bag: with peonies and turquoise accents. 🍄The Peonies and Mushrooms: highlighted with greens and fireflies. 🐇And our Jackalope and Poppies, that has been around for a little while now, and is at an amazing price! The sale will run till end of June, or until sold out.

To go along with the new, and very small (only 5) collection of gym bags, I also have made yoga mat carriers!
They are all individual colour combinations, only one of each, and there’s only 14 of them!
The leather straps are both adjustable, with buckles for quick release and attachment. And the carrier strap is adjustable, and can be up to 50” in length. Stay tuned for photos of available colours!
They will be available at the June 12/13 located at the
