After a wicked Season Opener and two weeks off, it's time to go back racing this upcoming weekend - and this Saturday is a special one!

It's our FIRST Saturday night show of 2026 - FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT on June 6th at 5:00pm!

We are with the rest of the motorsports community today in mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of NASCAR champion and legend Kyle Busch.

From becoming the all-time winningest driver across NASCAR's top three national series to building a legendary legacy both on and off the race track, Kyle was someone whom all of us — especially our racers — looked up to in many different ways: a tenacious competitor, a friend, a role model, a hero and villain to many, and a devoted father and husband.

We also greatly appreciate his lovely wife, Samantha, for her support of our merchandise line through "Shop Samantha Busch" apparel. In 2023, we were proud to become the first race track across Canada to carry her merchandise.

Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, the entire Busch family, friends, and the racing world during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, and keep chasing those checkered flags above us, Rowdy.

It's safe to say many race teams showed up to our 2026 Season Opener in style!

Here are just some of the standout fresh looks that our weekend warriors debuted last Sunday — from new colours and number fonts to sharp tribute-style schemes that impressed many!

One thing is already clear: the competition for "Best Looking Car" honours across all divisions at season's end is going to be stout, and it's only going to make our job tougher when it comes time to pick winners 😅

STANDINGS: After round one for six racing divisions on Sunday, May 17th, here is where 57 race teams stand.

Our 2026 Season Opener produced three triple winners, fifteen (15) different race winners across 26 total races (heats, semis, and features), and two first-time winners in point-paying competition, and several drivers put together career-best performances.

The stage is set for exciting weekly showdowns and competitive season-long championship battles across these six divisions all summer long, with round two for the Beginner & Outlaw Bandoleros, Mini Stocks, Outlaws, and Street Stocks next on Saturday, June 6th!

The Alvin's Auto Sales + Repair Bomber season kicks off that day, and the Clamdiggers Beach House & Restaurant Clash Racing Series Legends are back Saturday, June 20th, as part of the RE/MAX Rumble.

How about back-to-back Victoria Day Long Weekend Demolition Derby victories for this guy?!

Miscouche's Eddy Wells ( #171) defended his 2025 crown and took home another trophy and another $1,000 in a wild infield melee of nearly 20 cars to close out Sunday's Season Opener!

It’s a beautiful day for racing!

The 2026 stock car racing season on Prince Edward Island kicks off today in Oyster Bed Bridge.

Beginner & Outlaw Bandoleros, Mini Stocks, Outlaws, Legends, Street Stocks, and the $1,000-to-win Demolition Derby make up the race card for the Victoria Day Long Weekend Season Opener & Demolition Derby.

Cars are on track for practice — racing begins at 2pm, and we anticipate the derby roughly around 5-6pm if all goes well!
