The only proper way to do a thorough roof inspection - according to Dave.

He’s not wrong.

Sometimes all that chalky dirt, moss and algae makes a roof look worse than it is. And sometimes it hides nasty surprises.

Customer motorhome broke down in North Bay.
He asked Dave if he could go get it running and bring it back to Ottawa. I had just told Dave we didn’t get a chance to go see the colours up north this year! 😆

Lucky for him he broke down near the nicest people, who had a BIG driveway.

Headed back from our little fall colour tour.

Big thank you to Jen and Whitney for their kindness to a traveller needing a spot. It was fantastic to meet you!

Most picturesque service call ever …. any guesses where we headed?

(Only person that can’t guess is Jen, she’s got inside knowledge) 😆

Snazzy! Thank you to Next Gen signs in Carleton Place for another great project for us!

Facebook is odd 😂 apparently I opened this FB page 14 years ago and they notified me that it’s our fb anniversary - they’ve created an animation for the occasion - complete with a little blurb.
A lot has changed in 14 years. FB keeps telling me they’ll automatically create a post for me, schedule posts for me… yet here I am always just blabbering on off the top of my head like I always do 😂 Dave and I are not fans of the whole AI generated posts and such. You’re just going to get the real us. No filters, no cutesy AI cartoons of us. No one will ever be shocked when they come in expecting me to be a young, skinny blonde and getting … me. 😛

However, for your viewing pleasure, and the ridiculousness of it all, I present what FB thought was an appropriate and relevant animation to mark the occasion. Which is the absolute most not me thing they could have ever created 😛🤪🤷‍♀️ what even is this? 😂

Celebrating our 14th year on Facebook. Thank you for your continuing support. We could never have made it without you. 🙏🤗🎉

Today was a beautiful day. Pics never do a sky justice. What a view we get! The trees in the forest behind us are starting to turn. Can’t wait until full on fall. I like to stand outside in the morning with a coffee when the air is still chilly and count my blessings.
