Congrats to the Speed-Fanatics Motorsports Club in preparation to host their first race weekend in Jun 2022.
We will be there to support and participate.

YES, It's happening.
SFMC will be hosting its first race weekend of 2022 on Jun 25th/26th at Speed-Fanatics Motorsports Circuit.

If you have been following our teaser earlier, you may already know that there will be a night race on the Saturday. Honda Challenge, Miata Challenge, Formula Vee Challenge, and Dash for Cash will be featured on Sat. Special effects will be used upon the winners of each race crossing the finish line.

On Sunday, we will have Novice Race, and Touring Car Challenge in the morning; followed by a 5.5hr Enduro Race from 3:30pm to 9pm

Huge thanks to Vancouver's 5 championships winning driver Gary Kwong from Speed-Fanatics for his review on our AK01. Check out what he thinks about our tires ...

"Thanks for the invite from Landsail Motorsports , we have done some extensive tire testings for them yesterday at my home track.

The AK01 is a very consistent tire. We ran them on both of our team Subarus and found that the lap times produced were very consistent throughout 20 min sessions.

When tested back to back with the RE71R, they are only a fraction of a second down on best laps but their average lap times over a full stint was fairly on par. The RE71Rs would produce a better lap time on lap 3 to 4 and then tapper down throughout the session where as the AK01 was steadier.

I wouldn't say that the AK01 is a time attack tire just yet; but it is definitely a good track day practice and street summer tire. Still lots of meat left on the tire even after 5 very hard driven sessions at high track temperature yesterday.

To be fair, both our Subarus had alignment setups for Hoosiers and Bridgestones as well.
So from what we have learned from the AK01s, we can probably find a better alignment setting to work with them in future tests.

I think it will be a good option for fellow track day drivers especially when it's price point is much more affordable than its competitors. Very positive first day and first hand experience with them. Looking forward to further develop their program together. 💪🏁"
