Let's talk about oil changes for a moment. Modern technology in vehicle have come a long way. With innovations like, Fuel injections, bidirectional computers controlling just about every aspect of ignition, and better materials used in the engine's construction, have made vehicles far more reliable. However, this doesn't mean vehicle are maintenance free. To ensure the continued reliable operation of the engine, a vehicle requires an oil change on average about every 5,000kms. Regular oil changes ensure no carbon build-up occurs in the engine, which affects the operation of the car's engine, furthermore regular oil changes are the best defense against oil leaks. Nobody wants to see an oil stain on the floor of their garage or on their driveway. your vehicle is an investment, and if you want your investment to hold its value i strongly recommend regular maintenance. One easy way to tell if your vehicle is in need of an oil change is to check the oil, if the oil is so black you can not read the writing on the dipstick THROUGH the oil, it is time for an oil change.
