Stale or SALE?

Setting a competitive asking price is key to selling your car quickly & for the best amount possible – price it too high and shoppers will scroll on by, but price it too low and you may not get as much as it’s worth. Listing anything for way over market value is a sure way to have your listing go stale ie. nobody's biting. It's also obvious that nobody wants to get LESS than they could have gotten so that's why I am here...

Here are a couple tips on pricing your vehicle right:

1. Do your research! Find out what comparable vehicles are selling for in your area.

2. Know your vehicles history! Using your VIN # to pull a carproof on your vehicle is a great tool to use to gain some insight on the history of your vehicle. You can find information like what other provinces your vehicle has been registered in, if it's been in any accidents/had claims, if there any liens/recalls on the vehicle, etc. All which impact the value of your vehicle.

Here's what else can also impact the value of your vehicle:

- Number of previous owners
+ Extended warranties
+ Service Records
+ After-market features
+ Extras like winter tires
+ Recent replacement of brakes, battery etc.
+/- Overall condition of the vehicle
