🚨 URGENT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS & COMMUNITY 🚨
Velocity Performance has become aware of false and misleading statements being shared about our business, workmanship, and vehicles built or serviced by our shop.
We have also been made aware of situations where customers were allegedly pressured or scared into believing their vehicles had major issues without supporting evidence. This includes reports of unnecessary repairs, inflated bills, questionable invoices, and pressure to replace or sell vehicles below value.
One recent situation was upsetting. A young customer whose family has trusted us for about 7 years was allegedly told his vehicle was at serious risk, even though it was fully functional. After another opinion, the customer was told the vehicle was fine. This is exactly why second opinions matter.
This type of behaviour is not acceptable.
A reputable shop should diagnose the issue, explain the facts, provide proof, and help the customer make an informed decision. A trustworthy business does not need to create fear, attack another shop, or pressure people into unnecessary repairs.
For your protection:
✅ Ask questions before approving major repairs
✅ Request proof, photos, logs, scans, or a written breakdown
✅ Get a second opinion before replacing, selling, or giving up on your vehicle
✅ Review invoices carefully
✅ Be cautious of anyone trying to scare you into quick decisions
✅ Choose a shop based on honesty, transparency, reputation, and workmanship
We are not posting this to create drama or name anyone publicly. Our lawyers will be handling the appropriate steps. Thank you to everyone who has come forward with information, screenshots, statements, and evidence.
To anyone who has been affected, misled, pressured, or taken advantage of, we are genuinely sorry. This notice is being posted to protect customers and help prevent others from becoming victims of similar situations.
You do not have to choose Velocity Performance. But please choose a shop you can trust.
