What a day! It was nice seeing GFX buzzing with activity on Saturday. Thank you to everyone who was there to lend a hand. You guys are all Rockstars!
We got most of the subfloor in so you can get an idea of the track size. This will be a CRC FT2 black carpet 1/10 & 1/12 on-road track. We will hold practice and regular races and hopefully a big event or 2. We will be back at it this week trying to get this thing done! See you soon!

GFX Racing is just getting started but we would like to take a minute to publicly thank and acknowledge some of the many volunteers who have helped make this dream possible. First off thanks to Andrew Stevens for loaning us the beautiful black carpet! You rock dude! Thanks to Paul Taverner-ferri for the endless volunteer work and expertise he has contributed. You have been a true asset to the community. Steven Prosser for being a man of his word and has put in the hours even when no one else showed. Robert McRae for the timing bridge and cash box! And everyone who volunteered throughout the process Nick Mo Tyler Palmer. Lorne McEvoy for the upcoming website. Allen McEvoy for the advice and everyone at OORRCR. To all the racers who have showed up regularly and supported this venture since the beginning. And last but most definitely not least my wonderful wife Marites O Gruver. Literally an angel who does it all and keeps us all fed 😁

Well the first race in the new spot is done and dusted. We had a great time and would like to thank all who came out! We appreciate everyone. Your support means everything to us. Congrats to all the winners of the respective classes. We look forward to the next one as this was a great learning experience. Still more to come from GFX Racing. Stay tuned!
