We have a winner!

Cooley Automotive customer Shawn D was selected as the recipient of our annual CHEO fundraising prize.

Shawn is taking home an official Chabot NHL jersey and two tickets to an upcoming game in February 2020. Co-op student Nathan, seen in the photograph, drew the winning ballot earlier this week.

Cooley Automotive wants to thank all participants and customers for contributing to our annual funding drive. This year we raised $610 for the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).

Each year, thousands of young people's lives are saved by the diligent staff who work at CHEO. More than 3,000 doctors, nurses, and support staff are treating children with serious illnesses, saving families from some of the worst possible tragedies they could face. Organizations such as CHEO need our support. Thanks to all our customers for helping us support such an important institution.

The man who started it all: the late James "Jim" Cooley, originally from Belfast Northern Ireland, started with a gas station franchise in Bells Corners, Ottawa in the 70s before fully hanging his own shingle shortly thereafter. His same shop operates to the present day in the same family. Prices listed have changed a little bit over the forty years of continued business, but so not much ;)
