ATTENTION PLEASE!

To all our valued customers and friends in the community,

It has come to our attention that another towing company in the area is engaging in some unethical business practices. They are using paid advertising to target the business names of known towing companies, such as ourselves, and other respected businesses in the area.

The customer then assumes they are contacting Nanoose Bay Towing & Transport, when in fact they are in contact with a completely different company, which then misleads you into hiring them for service under our name, even going as far as stating that they work with us, know the owner, etc. They are then completing work under the guise that you have hired Nanoose Bay Towing & Transport, when you HAVE NOT.

Please know that all of our trucks are white with large red logos/lettering on the sides, "Nanoose Bay Towing & Transport". We DO NOT operate with any other trucks that are of a different colour or with a different logo, nor are we partnered/affiliated with any other towing service.

This business practice is fraudulent and a misrepresentation of ourselves and other known companies in the area. If this happens to you, please help us out by reporting the activity ASAP to Russ @ 250-468-9700, or by contacting us through our website (https://nanoosebaytowing.com/contact/). We take pride in serving our community with reliable, professional, and friendly service. Supporting local businesses means supporting your neighbors—we’re here for you when you need us most. If, for whatever reason, we are unable to serve you, we will point you in the right direction and to the right people.

We'd just like to put out a big thank you to everyone who has supported our business! We don't take it lightly when you call for our assistance, and love helping out our local communities. Also, a shout out to those who slow down and move over when passing anyone on the roads. Safety is always the number one priority - we want everyone to go home at the end of the day.

Great reminder! Check your winters if you have some already and ensure they stored well during the off season. If they look worn out, cracked, and/or otherwise questionable - get a new set ahead of time.

Call your local auto parts store if you're thinking about chains. They do make a difference and can give you that extra level of help in tough conditions.

Mainroad Mid Island Contracting LP crews will be performing their annual highway sweeping and bridge washing program throughout Central Vancouver Island's Service Area.

Timeline:

Tuesday, March 8th to Friday, May 13th, 2022
Bridge washing: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, Daily
Sweeping: 24-hours a day, 7 days a week

Drive BC will be updated when crews are scheduled to be working on BC Highways 1, 19, 19A, 4, and 4A.

Drivers are reminded to obey signs and traffic control personnel and watch for roadside workers. Please show respect for all roadside crews – Slow Down.
