It’s that time again. A fall plough day (antique and classic tractors) is being held in Middle Musquodoboit on Saturday, September 5th (2026). Bring a tractor and plough or come and watch. We’re hoping to have 30 tractors working in the same field at the same time so we need everyone who can to come on out. Barbecue at lunch time. Access to the field will be at 7319 Hwy 357, start time will be between 8 and 10 AM depending on how the morning goes.

A little public service announcement and a gentle suggestion to remember to maintain your tractors cooling system. The pictures show the inside of a Continental Z134 engine as fitted to the popular MF 35 amongst others. This shows the amount of sludge that had accumulated around the number 4 liner. At least half the depth of the block was plugged. Periodic flushing and coolant changes go a long way in preventing this, also avoiding the use of leak seal products. This is the second one of these I have taken apart recently to have this level of sludge.

If your cooling system has trouble we likely have the parts you need for your tractor, from hoses and thermostats, to water pumps and radiators.
