Just a week and a half away from the 2026 Grand Bend Festival of Speed! Saturday, October 3rd is that day when you will see vintage motorcycle, sidecar and car racing on the road course, vintage rally car time trials on n the infield, and the 660 Nationals will be happening at the same time on the drag strip. There’s also live music in the evening and lots of displays, including my custom bike sideshow!! If you love motorsports then this is the event for you!

My Custom bike “sideshow” will be making its return to this year’s Grand Bend Festival of Speed (Grand Bend Festival of Speed) on October 3rd at the Grand Bend Motorplex headlined by the Lawrence Hacking Dakar completing XR650. This is truly a piece of Canadian motorcycling history that you really need to see in person. This is just one of the many things happening at the festival this year along with some vintage motorcycle, sidecar and car racing, vendors, displays, live music and new this year, vintage car rally time trials!! This is going to be awesome!!

This 1979 Kawasaki KZ750E took a lot longer to finish than I (and especially the customer) would have liked but I like to think it was worth the wait as it turned out very well. 05 R1 front end and back wheel conversion and everything customised in between. His original paint was in great shape and I modded up the back end to shorten in up while trying to maintain the classic KZ look. Another build in the books. BikeBound ™ Custom Motorcycles
