Here’s another behind-the-scenes peek into the production of our upcoming Pat’s Auto Supply 2027 Car & Truck Calendar! This is Neal with his 1970 Dodge Dart Sw***er, and this car has an incredible family history. Neal’s dad purchased it brand new, and Neal himself has memories of driving it all the way back to when he was just 14 years old. More recently, the Dart received a new paint job that brought it back to its original color, making it look much like it did when Neal’s dad first brought it home. Sadly, Neal’s dad passed away earlier this year, making the history behind this car and Neal’s decision to share it with us for the calendar even more meaningful.
For the photoshoot itself, we completed it approximately 48 hours ago at Ken-Co Heavy Equipment Rentals in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and something very unique about this shoot is the colourful orange and yellow heavy-duty equipment in the background, making these images incredible and colorful, which is very different from the other shoots mainly centered around farm fields, trees, and more natural surroundings. For the other shoots, the vehicles are parked on pavement, gravel or grass, and this one is on mud, which makes the photos look very raw, and there’s something so cool about this. Thanks again, Neal! We appreciate you sharing this slice of family history with us and hope you love the final edited shot that makes it into the Pat’s Auto Supply 2027 Calendar, expected out this November!
