Dawson Creek Fire Fighters Association

Dawson Creek Fire Fighters Association Welcome to the official page of the Dawson Creek Professional Firefighters!

We're proud to serve our community—follow along for updates, events, safety tips, and the many ways we support Dawson Creek. The Dawson Creek Fire Department was established in January 1938 in response to the community’s limited access to firefighting equipment and resources. On April 3, 1972, the Department proudly affiliated with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) and joined the British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters Association (BCPFFA). For over 52 years, Dawson Creek Firefighters have taken pride in providing essential services including fire suppression, highway rescue, confined space response, hazardous materials response, medical response, and rope rescue. Beyond emergency services, our members are committed to supporting the community through various initiatives led by the Dawson Creek Firefighters Charitable Society.
