Hard to believe I’ve been on this campervan mission for over 5 years now. Trying to find that perfect overlap between affordability and comfort for those trying to start vanlife, for a long or short time by choice or not. I know how magical of a shift in our lives doing our vanlife was and I know it can do the same for others.

🚐✨

So after 5 long years of trial and error I’ve compressed everything that worked into a single document for those who wish to follow the path we paved. This is just the beginning of the storm shelter campervan design, it will grow and evolve over the years as we all do.

It’s time for this chapter of my life to close as a new miraculous one opens for me. I wish us all bigger and better things, take the leap, something will catch you.

A real back seat passion of mine has been designing the ultimate homesteaders dream year round greenhouse 👨‍🌾 and this project is a small step towards that! I designed this product and created a kickstarter to raise funds for a mini factory so I can share it with the world 🌎 .

Requiring no complex cuts this kit design allows anyone to build and cover a dome structure up to 30 Feet Wide with minimal waste!

Curtains!!!!! First time in one of our vans that we made it this far. It’s one of those personal touches that make the space a little more you and a little more cozy.

🎉 We snatched some blackout prefab curtain panels on clearance at and had sew a custom fit. 🙏🏼

The meal prep breakdown no one asked for 🤤

🥑🥗🥒 We prepped some veggies for an assortment when needing a quick lunch. Having versatile ingredients allows us to mix & match or snack on their own while still hitting the mark for a delicious and nutritious meal. Now what’s next on the menu? 🤔

Look what we got recently! In need of some cleaning and adjustments but they will do just great in our new build! These photos show a first draft of the layout. 📐

Before taking these cabinets home, we searched for something that would somewhat match the walnut finish of the interior trim.🪵♻️ So happy we could give these cabinets another life and keep them out of a landfill in the process.
