Let the Gong ring on!

We’re relieved and deeply grateful to share that the gong at the Waterloo Regional Health Network Foundation - WRHNF in Kitchener has been recovered and reinstalled after being stolen with the support of the Waterloo Regional Police Service.

Strickland’s was honoured to donate this gong—an enduring symbol of strength, hope, and the hard-won milestones patients and families reach throughout their cancer journey.

It’s more than a restoration, it brings back moments of pride, connection, and celebration to a place where they matter most.

We’re thankful it’s home where it belongs, continuing to mark courage, progress, and hope.
