2018 GMC terrain came in with a no-sound issue in their factory audio system.

After confirming proper electrical, individual components were inspected where we found that the amplifier section of the head unit had corrosion on the legs soldered to the board.

After cleaning the corrosion, the radio made one single sound then died again.

Sometimes we can't save your equipment, but we can accurately diagnose your issue. That saves you time and money versus those other guys that would just guess and have you buying equipment you don't need.

This page and it's offerings are slowly growing into more and it'll have to evolve to keep up in this ever changing world. Automotive servicing and repairs can also be offered on weekends and evenings and this too will expand over the years.

As of today, DB PLAYGROUND is no longer accepting work that involves "fixing" an existing box, nor are we giving quotations without physically being involved (seeing the project in person) first.

DB Playground is only interested in making new boxes and this is the specialization that will net you your best results.

5 cuft box tuned to 33hz with 14sqin port/cuft for 2 kicker L5 12s.

Customer currently using a "400w" amp on these, but they can share a true 1200w rms. It's already loud and flexing his roof lol I can imagine when he gets the right amp on them 😁😁😁

You shoulda seen d smile on his face when it first began to beat lol

Built all around with 3/4" 5ply cabinet grade pine plywood. No flex in this box!

And yes, we "restored" the cones on these with a high quality Rustoleum matte black paint.

When you want cheap and fast, go to the other guys. When you want performance and the best you can get in country, come talk to me.

Another custom box by DB Playground for a customer with specific needs.

Small SUV, he uses the cargo area frequently and needs as much as possible, so we have this beautiful forward facing, rear ported enclosure for a single 10" that will flush fit between the car's panels to stay in its place. Designed to be able to play full volume with any cargo in the back while keeping the sub safe from damage

1.2 cuft internal volume with a 35hz port - 21.5sqin, 35.5" long

Built to be strong, beautiful and loud! Will definitely be an upgrade from his current generic box!

Here we have this marvelous example of a torched box, not yet varnished, for a 10" Rockford Fosgate P1. Customer wishes to have it on his back seat, so my job is not to tell him put it somewhere else, my job is to make it sound amazing!

Tuned to 37hz, this box plays all the frequencies those other boxes play, and more. The specific layout of this box makes it versatile enough to change orientation to whatever suits the owner best, while still being able to go into the cargo area and beat down the block!

Only the best boxes can be called a DB PLAYGROUND box.

DB Playground keeps on doing big things!

A massive and beautiful box tailored to fit perfectly in this Ford explorer, built for for Skar Audio sdr15s on 1200watts.

If you think your sub sounds good right now, wait until you put it in the correct box!

3 sheets of 3/4 cabinet grade plywood, double all walls(1.5" thick), triple baffle(2.25" thick), for 2 Skar Audio VXF15s on a 4500w skar audio amp...

Remember I don't do cheap or quick here, you wanna go to the other guys for that.
