Keep Your Home and Garden Free of Rats, Snakes, and Strays with This Clever Camphor Trick
If you're tired of uninvited guests like rodents, snakes, or stray animals invading your home or garden, there’s a remarkably simple solution—and it starts at the window.
How to Do It:
1. Prepare the Containers
Take small plastic bottles or containers and cut a V-shaped notch near the top to create an opening.
This allows the scent to spread effectively.
2. Add Water and Camphor
Fill each container with water, leaving some space at the top. Drop in 4 to 6 camphor balls (commonly used as moth repellents). The camphor slowly releases its strong aroma over time.
3. Let the Smell Do the Work
The powerful scent of camphor is unpleasant for many pests.
Whether it's rats, snakes, or stray cats and dogs, the smell keeps them at bay without the need for traps or chemicals.
4. Place Strategically
Distribute the containers around the house or garden, spacing them about 8 feet (2.5 meters) apart. Good placement is key to covering all entry points and vulnerable zones.
5. Long-Lasting Effect
Camphor doesn't dissolve easily in water, which makes this method efficient and long-lasting.
Just refill the water occasionally to maintain the effect.
