This simplified diagram maps out the relationship between fuse colors, amperage ratings, and the specific vehicle components they protect. Understanding this color code is the first step in troubleshooting electrical issues:

1. Light to Medium Loads (10A - 20A)

10A (Red): Designated for primary lighting, specifically "HEADLIGHTS".

15A (Blue): Protects the infotainment and audio systems, labeled here as "RADIO/STEREO".

20A (Yellow): Handles the climate control components, such as the "A/C & BLOWER" fans.

2. Heavy Loads (30A - 40A)

30A (Green): Protects the critical "ENGINE SYSTEMS" necessary for the car to run.

40A (Orange - Middle): Powers heavy-duty cabin motors, specifically "POWER WINDOWS & LOCKS".

40A (Orange - Bottom): The most critical fuse shown, protecting the "MAIN FUSE / STARTER" motor circuit required to crank the engine.

At Auto Experts we recommend checking the corresponding fuse first whenever a specific component stops working.

Engine oil is the lifeblood of your engine. Beyond lubrication, it reduces friction, manages heat, seals internal components, and plays a key role in extending engine life. Choosing the correct oil viscosity ensures smooth performance and protects your engine from premature wear.
🔍 Match the Oil to Your Engine & Driving Conditions:
💧 0W-20 | The Modern Performer
Best for: New-generation engines
Benefits: Excellent fuel efficiency and smooth cold starts.
🌍 5W-30 | The Everyday Favorite
Best for: Daily-driven gasoline and light diesel vehicles
Benefits: Balanced protection, efficiency, and engine cleanliness.
🛠️ 10W-40 | The Mileage Protector
Best for: Engines with noticeable wear
Benefits: Better sealing and dependable performance in moderate climates.
🚛 15W-40 | The Heavy-Duty Solution
Best for: Diesel engines, trucks, and commercial vehicles
Benefits: Designed to handle heavy loads and tough working conditions.
🔥 20W-50 | The High-Heat Defender
Best for: Older engines or vehicles operating in very hot environments
Benefits: Thicker oil film that compensates for internal clearances.
⚠️ Engine Care Tip
Always follow the oil specifications recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Using the wrong viscosity may cause poor lubrication, increased oil consumption, or serious internal engine damage.

Your vehicle’s fuse box might look small, but it protects some of the most critical systems in your car. Knowing which fuse does what can save you from hours of troubleshooting! Here’s a breakdown of the key fuses and the chaos that can happen if they fail:
🔹 ECU / ECM Engine (10A–20A) 🧠
Feeds power to the engine’s brain. A blown fuse here? The engine won’t start, fuel injection stops, and diagnostic tools won’t communicate.
🔹 Fuel Pump (15A–20A) ⛽
Powers the electric pump inside the tank. A weak or blown fuse causes stalling when hot, long cranking, and low fuel pressure.
🔹 Fuel Injectors (10A–15A) 💉
Protects the injector circuit. Failure may let the engine crank but not start, or trigger “Limp Mode” with an extremely lean mixture.
🔹 Ignition System (15A–20A) 🔥
Supplies the coils and ignition module. A blown fuse here leads to misfires, loss of spark, or sudden engine shutdown.
🔹 MAF / MAP Sensors (5A–10A) 🧭
Stabilizes reference voltages for air sensors. Damage triggers DTC codes like P0100 or P0105, rough idle, and incorrect fuel mixtures.
🔹 Main Relay (20A–30A) 🔌
The system’s “heartbeat” powering ECU, sensors, and actuators. If this fuse fails, the car is completely electrically dead.
🔹 Cooling Fan (30A–40A) 🌡️
Controls radiator fans. A blown fuse causes overheating in traffic and may disable AC.
🔹 Instrument Cluster / Dashboard (7.5A–10A) 💡
Protects gauges and warning lights. Without it, you lose RPM, temperature readings, and alerts.
🔹 ABS System (25A–40A) 🛑
Keeps the anti-lock brakes active. Fuse failure lights up the ABS warning and disables electronic braking help.
🔹 Central Locking / BCM (10A–20A) 🚪
Manages locks and comfort features. A blown fuse can trigger ghost electrical glitches without obvious mechanical cause.
Knowing these fuses is like having a cheat sheet for your car’s electrical system! Trust your maintenance and diagnostics to Auto Mechanics Center—where precision meets performance.
