Did you know that privacy glass doesn't offer any form of UV protection?

Many of our customers are shocked to find out their factory privacy glass is not going to protect themselves or their passengers from harmful UV rays. Privacy glass is a dye added to the glass during manufacturing and is purely cosmetic.

With majority of new cars coming out with privacy glass on all windows except the front driver and passenger windows, there has been an increase of customers only wanting to tint their front windows, as they are under the impression the rear windows are already tinted.

Please be aware that if your car has privacy glass from factory, this is not the same as window tint and it will not protect you or your family from any UV or block out any infrared heat.
