2026 Jamboree wow what a weekend !!
We love the three day format thank you Colin, Kelly and all the Willowbank Raceway/Jamboree staff cracker event 🤌🤌🤌
With time not on our side we went into the event untested but confident we would make some good A to B passes. Well so we thought, the car had other ideas and kick our buts all weekend 😬😬😬.
Warm up prior to Q1 saw us need to pull the gearbox and inspect a suspect 2nd gear, enter WAT UP G to the rescue our lenco brother came with spares and with there help we could actually make it in time to make a hit, we thankyou and your team 💚💚💚
Enter the misfire🤯🤯🤯, an underlying issue became more apparent in 3rd gear of Q1 causing a back fire and the need to abort each qaulifying run for the weekend. Jason payne in the blue R32 is no joke to pair against thanks for the grudge and underdogs we remain, for now😎😎😎.
Come saturday night we had chased data pulled fuel, pulled timing getting us futher down the track but not out of the woods by any means. Going over the hardware testing each of the 23 injectors through the motec m150 and BOOM🕺 we found our second faulty injector🤕🤕🤕. Loose pins on a primary last week and a secondary injector wire decided to exit the pin, both on the rear rotor.
The 3rd rotor was dead so when in Jamboree🫡🫡🫡 the deadicated crew pulled the motor to rebuild for sunday. Pac Performance the legends and our good friends proved to be helpfull beyond words lending a map sensor/ engine crane/test lights etc and motovation to not give up, thank you brothers & sisters

Buy 2:40am sunday we were back running and a cheeky 3.5 hrs recharge for round 1 of racing.
R1: Exit the Direct Clutch pedal 🤣🤣🤣trying to accept the tree seen the slave cylinder couldn't hold on any longer. Oh we got this sorted no problem but now our R2. solo gave us enough to realise the gearbox wasnt't done complete teardown now required... turns out we managed a couple of 1.07/1.08 60ft times launching in second gear🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️.
Oh and the belt came off on the final round of racing loosing both fuel/oil pressure mid run ☠️☠️☠️.

Thats the team 💪💪💪 these are the people who made it possible to make every call to the lanes. Nothing can stop this lot and we should all hold our heads with pride for not backing down and putting on a show. Our results didn't light the boards up this weekend but for the love of the sport we lit up each others hearts for the cause.
We will be back fresher better & tested🙄🙄🙄 Lession learnt.
