After a large investment of research and testing into the 2JZ Gas have dominated Sports Compact Drag Racing with their 2JZ Powered Toyota Celica. In 2020 GAS RACING was named Australia # 1 team after running a record 5.97

@ 240 mph over the quarter mile. Gas has now applied their knowledge and resources to focus on their entire performance build house, offering proven performance packages for all enthusiasts and budgets - mild to wild! With a full compliment of workshop facilities available including one of the Australian’s most capable Hub Dyno, CNC machining and purpose engine building facilities - we are ideally located just 10 minutes from Sydney Dragway. Gas Racing can cater for any quality performance requirement be it a complete ground up restoration to manufacturing a custom part that you require.

T E S T M O D E 💪

After a sleepy 12 months, the GAS RACING signature race machine was finally back where it belongs yesterday... in full test mode.
Following an ECU upgrade, the Fueltech FT700 has officially replaced the 600, and the transition couldn't have gone smoother.
Starting with a clean slate, the tuning team laid down fresh data and ripped off a 6.1-second pass with a planned shut off on the very first full run managed by the FT700.
The car has never sounded cleaner, and with repeatable, faultless passes, gathering data has been effortless. That's exactly what we wanted heading into race week.
Now the focus shifts to Jamboree in just 10 days. In a field this competitive, repetition, consistency, and reliability win races... and we're ready to put the work to the test.

Another weapon rolls out of GAS Racing this week…

This JDM Supra is built around a Dart 2JZ block, breathing through a BIG 7676 turbo, backed by FuelTech injectors and a Hypertune intake.

We've also fabricated a complete in-house exhaust system featuring an AES exhaust flap, finished off with Modul suspension to keep it planted.

The mission?
1000HP. Full interior. True street car.

No compromises. Just brutal power, reliability, and street manners that let you enjoy it whenever the keys are in your hand.

What does it take to prepare our stable for the biggest import race event of the year?

A full team. All hands on deck. Late nights in the workshop. Countless hours of car prep, dyno sessions, and chasing every last horsepower 💪

Last night it was Po Tung's Supra under the spotlight, putting in the work and getting it sorted. Every run, every adjustment, every late finish is building towards one goal.
