Another one for the team at BYE PERFORMANCE. This supercharged R8 Clubsport was in need of some more air so they opted for a 41/2” induction pipe to supply the blower. Here I’ve fabricated some pie cut sections and fully back purge welded it together with some ally sheet work we now have a cold air intake.

Marine water cooled mixers and manifolds are subjected to an extremely corrosive environment. This first photo shows how bad the internals can get. Here I have custom fabricated a new set using heavier wall 316L stainless steel tube and fittings and fully back purge welded. They are now off to CIC Coatings for internal and external polished ceramic coating. These are very cost effective solutions in comparison to off the shelf items and can be made to order. Call us for any advise on this process.
