📢 Notice of Works

South Burnett Regional Council advises guests that landscaping work will be undertaken in the area adjacent to the kiosk and powered site terraces, from Monday 26 October 2026, however this should not impact your stay. The camp kitchen will be available for use during these works.

Please follow signage directions and do not enter work areas.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst these works are taking place.

Don't miss the Golden Lure being held at Bjelke-Petersen Dam Caravan and Recreation Park 16-17 October 2026!

🐟🎣 Festival of the Dams 2026, the Golden Lure is being held at Bjelke-Petersen Dam from Friday 16 October to Saturday 17 October 2026, organised by Fishing Freshwater and proudly sponsored by the South Burnett Regional Council.

A fun family event open to the public with raffles, lucky door prizes and much more. Presentations will be held on Saturday with a free BBQ dinner provided.

📢Get Ready South Burnett Photo Submission

Submit a photo that captures what disaster preparedness, response recovery and disaster events that have occurred or you have witnessed in the South Burnett.

The best 12 photos will be utilised in a 2027 “Get Ready Calendar for South Burnett”. Photos will also be used as part of Council’s Disaster Management photo profiles for preparedness and response promotional activities into the future.
