A very tidy 325i vert in for a Z3 steering rack upgrade and a little maintenance!

We saved this tidy E46 330ci's floorpan with a set of our subframe mount reinforcements.
This job included a full removal and strip down of both the trailing arms and subframe, for ALL brand new OE rubber bushes throughout, including wheel bearings and brakes.

Getting some work done on the E46 Compact rally car this week.

Front skid plate mount hoop, mid skid plate support and custom rear gearbox crossmember with a skid plate mount incorporated.

Both p/s and engine oil cooler brackets made.

Got started on the alloy floor pans.

Start of an E30 half cage using the jig I began making off the last cage.
Should be able to replicate them quickly and accurately using laser cut feet.

They will be a one piece style, ie. fully welded with no bolt in joints for better rigidity.

Using 350G CDW 44.45mm for the main hoop, 38.1mm for all additional tubes and following the latest version of schedule J of the CAMS manual for mounting feet area and bolt angle separation, these will be fully CAMs compliant.

Today is E46 strut bar day.
Having to up my batches lately as they seem to sell out within a week or two.
Not that I'm complaining.

They now also incorporate the rear shock mount reinforcement into the endplates.

Assembling a new batch of our E30 washer bottle relocation kits today.
Decided to give the aluminum brackets a hand brushed finish, and chamfer the bolt holes, instead of sending them as is from the laser cutters.

Tidy M54B30 swapped Mtech 2 E30 in for a mild suspension upgrade today.
Replaced the tired 45mm Pedders/Monroe items for a 51mm King Springs/Bilstein setup.

Made quite a considerable difference to the handling, but especially the ride quality, car was nice and compliant over bumps/potholes.

Sandblasted and painted the replacement struts, along with fresh wheel bearings and oem strut top mounts.

All in all, a nice budget upgrade!
