About the Company
Towler Mechanical is a well established workshop in the northern suburbs. After 30 years we have a good reputation for maintaining and repairing an extensive range of vehicles.
The workshop is large and well equipped with ample off-street parking.
Our tooling includes: 4WD Dyno, extensive diagnostic equipment, computer tuning for petrol and diesel, exhaust benders, plasma cutter, welders - Tig, Mig and Arc, injector cleaner and more.
About the Role
The work is varied with working on a large range of vehicles - passenger, commercial, 4WD, light trucks, trailers, classic and performance vehicles - from old school to current.
You will have the opportunity to apply or learn the following skills: dyno tuning, fabrication, welding, reprogramming, differential rebuilds, engine work.
All of our mechanics participate in industry training and trade events.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for an experienced mechanic who is wanting to further develop their skills.
Qualities that would be an advantage but are:
Fully qualified with a minimum of four years experience.
Petrol and/or diesel experience.
Extensive knowledge of scan and other diagnostic tools.
Dyno and tuning skills
The successful applicant will need to have:
Certificate of Qualification
Current Australian driver's licence
Comprehensive tool kit
Good communication skills
You must be an Australian resident
Hours are 8am to 4.10pm Monday to Friday.
Overtime is available.
Uniforms provided.
Off-street parking.
Your personal mechanical interests are encouraged.
Aftermarket Training and attendance at Trade Shows.
Wages are above award and will depend on experience. This will be discussed further at the interview.
