Rescue Me Recovery got the call this afternoon for a 300 Series LandCruiser stuck up in Nundle State Forest. 🛻🌲

The vehicle was well and truly stuck in some big, muddy ruts.

A triple-line winch pull was needed to get it moving, but we got it out safely and back on solid ground. 💪

🚨 WE WENT LOOKING… AND FOUND OUT WHY THEY GOT STUCK! 😳 🚨

We got word of a possible abandoned vehicle after someone had gotten seriously stuck, so we headed out to investigate.

We couldn’t find the vehicle — but we definitely found the conditions! The Y62 needed the winch twice just to get through.

That’s why we always carry proper recovery gear and know how to use it. 💪

We got ourselves stuck in a muddy quicksand-style mud hole, which then led straight into a steep hill climb with a few decent holes thrown in for good measure. 😂

Lots of commentary coming from Amy in the passenger seat… “That’s not good…” 😅😂

Turns out even the recovery team breaks stuff! I just have to keep reminding myself — it’s a Y62, not a comp truck. 😂

Some RCVs have now been ordered, so hopefully this doesn’t happen again anytime soon! 💪

Lucky we had the winch! Managed to get ourselves out of the mess and limp the Y62 home safely. 😂

And a little reminder — don’t be a rev head either! Sometimes giving it more right foot just makes matters a whole lot worse… learnt that one the hard way. 😂😅
