What a weekend at the Circuit Excel Nationals!

Despite the extremely wet conditions, we had an absolute blast and learned a lot about our new car.

Saturday threw some serious challenges our way, with heavy rainfall making both the track and visibility incredibly difficult. In conditions like that, simply keeping the car on the circuit and completing the heat races felt like an achievement in itself.

Sunday’s final was just as action-packed. Starting from P39 on the grid, we worked our way forward to finish P35 out of a 47-car field. As the track slowly improved, we managed to bring our lap times down into the low 2:28s on a surface that was still holding plenty of moisture.

While not putting down a particularly impressive performance, we’re pleased with the progress we made throughout the weekend. Most importantly, we’ve found some promising pace in the new car and, with a huge thanks to the boys behind the tools, it performed reliably all weekend long.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped out and supported us throughout the event. We’re looking forward to getting back on home soil, continuing to develop the package, and chasing stronger results at the next round.

It’s race week! we’re now 5 days out from being back on one of our home tracks.

We have entered into the Excel Nationals next weekend at The Bend, spectators are free, or if you wish it is available to watch on Kayo Sports throughout the whole weekend!

This marks the first at home event we will compete in the new car, looking forward to what we can do on home soil!

We conquered Bathurst!

We completed race 3 finishing 28th out of 42. After starting practice and setting lap times around the 3:20, after increasing our pace we ended the weekend punting out a time of 2:59:7.

This event has been a highlight for us, although there was many red flags we walked away with a straight car, won a fresh set of tires and enjoyed the trip out here to compete!

I’d like to thank the Crew, Jack Dare, Jack Pudney, Aiden Harris and Tom Morrison for giving up their Easter weekend to come out and make sure the car ran at its best.

Saturday at Bathurst in the books!

The morning stayed with an early qualifying only managing to punt out two laps before the session was red flagged. Moving onto race 1 which saw us completing one corner due to an on track incident causing the session to be called early.

Finally race 2 was a full session where we made up some ground and felt the car come more into its own.

Race 3 starts at 08:25 tomorrow morning, Bring on our final day of racing!
