‼️ 2017 Range Rover Velar ‼️

Customer contacted us stating they were dealing with air suspension issues (this vehicle is fitted with F&R air suspension from factory).

We carefully & methodically diagnosed a faulty air suspension compressor, without the compressor there is no air supply to the suspension which won’t allow the vehicle to raise on command.

Range Rover sells this unit as a whole piece enclosed in a non serviceable box which costs an arm & a leg! Modern Auto Solutions has their best interest in finding a feasible & efficient solution for their customers. We managed to source just the compressor itself & seperate the box by drilling out the pop rivets. Once all internal components were serviced/replaced we then re assembled the casing fitting new rivets making the unit look OE as possible as if it has never been tampered with keeping the sleek factory look!

We carried out the following work :
- Supply & fit new air suspension compressor 🔧
- Supply & fit new expansion chamber 🔧
- Supply & fit new filter 🔧
- Cleared old codes & carried out a re-calibration 🔧

System is operating as it should now! With our methodic approach to this situation we saved the customer half the amount they would have paid at a dealer or independent workshop 🙏

2015 BMW 228i F23 booked in for some suspension work!

Customer contacted us stating the ride quality was terrible & vehicles stability was compromised…

We assessed the vehicles suspension system & discovered all 4 shocks were faulty & completely bottoming out on every bump. This recipe causes serious vehicle instability, uneven tyre wear & unwanted suspension noises ❌

2018 VW Polo booked in today for a yearly service & some diagnosis 👀

Customer contacted me requesting a basic service & to troubleshoot some engine running rough conditions.

Upon inspection I discovered the previous workshops who have touched this car did not inform their customer of the service work required based on intervals, vehicle had poor service history and no other items completed such as spark plugs, brake fluid, filters etc….

With this information I scanned the vehicle & found a misfire code on cylinder 1, removed the spark plugs and found still original plugs in the car (I recommend plugs to be done in modern day turbo charged engines ATLEAST every 60,000kms, this vehicle had 110,000 kms)

Advised the customer that new plugs are required to get rid of the misfire. All things considered we went ahead and carried out the following work today :

- Engine oil drain & refill 🔧
- Oil filter replacement 🔧
- Replacement of spark plugs 🔧
- Full inspection 🔧
- Rotated tyres 🔧
- Service light reset 🔧

Vehicle is now back running right to its former glory, our customer was super pleased with the efficiency & convenience of this service ‼️

The customer has been notified about all outstanding work still required to be done, they have rebooked to get this done in the near future ☺️

Performance, comfort & practicality done in style 🙌

We had the pleasure of carrying out an ‘A’ Service on this beautiful 2021 Mercedes Benz C63s W205 😍

During our thorough inspection we noticed that the vehicles tyres have severe inner edge wear aswell as low front brakes (see last two photos). We brought these concerns to the customers attention & will be rectifying these issues in the near future 🔧

The vehicle is still in warranty period so we took the necessary precautions to ensure no warranty was voided by using non genuine parts.

Got this 2015 Kia Carnival in for a service & additional repairs!!

Customer contacted us requesting a service & general checkover 👀

We noticed a quite severe engine noise on start up & whilst driving. We evaluated the engine oil level and found it was super low on oil resulting in excessive timing chain rattle.

As part of our services we carry out a full diagnostic scan, finding a few faults related to engine misfires. As the vehicle has high mileage (200,000 km +), our best recommendation was to replace all the spark plugs & ignition coils to garuntee a solid repair with confidence there will be no issues arising in the near future!

We carried out the following repairs :

- Replaced x6 spark plugs 🔧
- Replaced x6 ignition coils 🔧

We had a call out on this public holiday for a 2009 Toyota Hilux, customer contacted me stating the vehicle will not start 🧐

With some in depth troubleshooting we diagnosed a faulty starter motor, taking into account the vehicles battery health & all surrounding components. Everything checked out okay, new starter motor was required to rectify the fault 🔧
