New South Wales drivers have been warned to stay vigilant, with school zone speed limits returning from tomorrow.

Term One officially begins on February 2, but drivers found speeding could face fines of up to $3,242 and seven demerit points.

Each one a child, partner, parent, sibling or friend whose life ended in a moment. 💛

Speeding, drink driving and fatigue were the top factors. Please slow down, stay alert, and never drive impaired or tired.

🚍👀 Think the bus driver can see you in their side mirrors? Think again!

Due to their large size, buses have bigger blind spots than other vehicles. Give way and extra space to buses, take extra care when changing lanes around buses and never assume that the driver has seen you.

How times change..... both the local area and the volume of traffic!

The Miranda Fire Station a landmark on the Port Hacking Road seen here in the background was built on this site in 1974.
