SuperStock has a large order of Torque version Hobbywing Technology G5's coming THIS week in 17.5t and 13.5t versions! Available NOW at www.superstockrc.com

Setup correctly, the high torque version we tested recently develops more bottom, mid and top end when compared to the standard version rotor. The torque rotor version requires you to calm down your throttle and punch settings compared to the stock rotor. With a few adjustments to your esc, the torque version feels incredible and ballistically fast!

We set our 13.5t motor to 38 timing on the motorlyser, so it should be the same with a tunalyser. We ran on a large euro track (John Grant International raceway) and set fdr to 3.88. 👌 Try it, you won't be dissapointed. You can always calm down initial response via the esc and we will post our suggestions soon, once we return back to testing.

We found that the G5 goes off the line smoother and with less wheelspin than a G4R but because the motor is able to ramp up the RPM scale quicker, it produces a better low to mid range feel and reaches peak rpm quicker than a G4R.

Overall the G5 is an incredible motor! Great job Hobbywing Technology!

I recently had the idea...if I can find a way to help other people in the RC community by sharing some of the knowledge and tips I've learned over the years through group sessions or 1:1 coaching - it can't hurt right? Maybe I can expand my knowledge by learning how to teach and help others while I'm at it!

To my surprise, a fair few people have been keen! "Mayhem" Mark being the first to snap up my services, and now these boys employing a group session to try and help them all work towards their racing goals 💪

3 different drivers with the same chassis, setup differently, in 2 different motor classes, that kept me busy tonight! It was made easier the fact they're all on the same Sweep rubber so we know their tire program is going well 👌

Its good to see the improvement and positivity from these guys, in just the first night! They're all eager to soak up some information and find those hidden bits of lap time 💪

It's been an honour to sponsor our first event ever under the SuperStock banner at our home track, New South Wales Radio Controlled Racing Car Club Inc

We helped a few people with motors this event but also tried to keep our eyes on the racing, here's a summary of the intense competition ALL event. Simon dominated in Mod, unfortunately the odds landed in the wrong fashion for a mega Fast Stoney with a rapid Marcus taking up the spoils in 13.5t. In 21.5t Dan dominated, with Martinez digging deep for a very respectable second place. Special mention to John Wenicke for putting a huge effort in his racing program and grabbing a forth. He had a first place given to him on a platter on A1 but fumbled it. I was also very impressed with Callan Rockaĺl RC driving, it has improved in leaps and bounds over the last few months👌👌. In 12th scale, Stoney did a great job with Chris Peet keeping him on his toes.

Ok...this is a big milestone for us here at SuperStock, dear Followers, we would like to introduce to you the first five Supertock Ambassadors! The Ambassador Program is focused on building a strong team for each brand in each state. Our Ambassadors will be leading the charge and helping you all feel welcome, supported and part of a growing community of racers who feel part of something building a stronghold for each brand in each state. At SuperStock we want to make being part of a team something special and led by special people, deserving of the role of Ambassador. At SuperStock, we made a concerted effort to approach the right people we thought reflected the right brand values and community building spirit. This is only the beginning and we have a dream to add to the Ambassadors Team, so if we didn't aproach you yet don't worry.

All our Ambassadors will also be using Sweep Racing tyres for club days so if you have any questions about Sweep, how to prepare them, setup advise etc, hit us up! we ae here to help.

Who's on the team?
starting off with Justin Vergunst . Justin has been an avid supporter of what we want to do here at SuperStock from the get go and he reflects the drive and values we want in a team leader. Justin will be in charge of helping SuperStock build the Schumacher R/C Racing team in Victoria. If you have ever wanted to race a Schumacher, speak to Justin as we want you as part of our team.

Chris Mitchell - that guy Chris is well known within RC in Australia and an integral part of WA racing. When Tomas visited the WA onroad track at Westcoast Model RC, he was very impressed with the community spirit at this club and it is for this reason, we decided to sign a WA local as part of the Ambassador team. Chris is a FWD fanatic and a great 13.5T driver. He has already been helping locals with setup advise which is something that caught our eye when thinking of who we wanted on the team. Chris will be running the RC MAKER SP1 and we look forward to building an RC Maker stronghold in WA with Chris as our Ambassador!

Antoni Caretti RC . All round Mr nice guy, Yokomo dedicated to the core. Why would you not want someone this loyal, this likable, on your team? Also, at SuperStock, we love a challenge and it's no denying that Yokomo has a low prescence in Australia. We want to change that and make it a car that not only can be at the pointy end as Caretti is already doing, but has a ultra strong team in South Australia. With support from Yokomo Importer, Hearns Hobbies and soon to be from Yokomo Stockist, SuperStock, lets make Yokomo Great Again in SA!

Anthony Wasson RC . We approached Anthony recently as we wanted to build the Serpent prescence in NSW. Much like Yokomo, Serpent's representation is quite low yet, Anthony has been steadfast in his loyalty to the Serpent brand. Loyalty means a lot to us here at SuperStock so who better to sign than Anthony? Dedicated GT driver, accomplished GT racer and early adopter with the use of Sweep GT tyres. it just made sense to bring him on the team. SuperStock wants to build a Serpent GT Army here in NSW and bring back GT on Sweep tyres. Ever wanted to get into GT? now with Anthony as our Ambassador you can get all the know how needed to jump right in.

Finally, yours truely, Mr SuperStock himself Tomas Buratovich in NSW. I want to build a truely massive Awesomatix team here in NSW. I know the car well, and looking forward to bringing you into the fold and showing you what is considered by those who have never owned an Awesomatix, a rather curious or even confusing car to the uninitiated. If you've ever wanted to jump on the Russian express, feel free to talk to your fellow Slav/Argentine/Aussie racer, aka me!, and i can get you up and running with setups, help trackside and support.
