⚙️Headlight issue diagnosis and repair.
🔧 Replace headlight module.

The owner of this Mercedes was given a diagnosis by another mechanic of needing whole a new headlight but thankfully due to our in depth diagnosis approach and research into parts, we were able to find and replace the module separately, saving the customer a few dollars in the process.

⚙️Slow loss of coolant diagnosis and repair.
🔧 Low pressure EGR cooler replacement.

This golf had been consuming coolant for nearly two years with other mechanics un-able to give the customer a definite diagnosis,

🚗 Audi A1
⚙️ Timing chain, top end reseal and VVT solenoid.

This little A1 was suffering with oil leaking into the spark plug tubes causing random misfires and a nasty rattle from the timing chain on cold start.
Thankfully we picked up on these issues early which avoided potential engine damage.

🚗 BMW E91 323i M-Sport Touring.
🔧 Rocker cover and appropriate seal replacement.

It takes a keen eye and attention to detail to spot the real problems with some vehicles and oil leaks, plastic rocker covers do crack and if it’s mis-diagnosed as just the seals it can mean doing the job twice!
Luckily our experience with these things and BMW means we know where and what to look for to do the job efficiently.

Following on from the previous post, here’s some of the work we’ve carried out on that vehicle to help it perform consistently on track.
Working alongside the owner and a good fabricator we were able to bring his ideas to reality with the custom oil cooler setups and perform the necessary maintenance and upgrades between track days also.
