It's back to reality after the boat show so we decided to raise the roof... we really did!
The V930 Series 2 currently under build in our shed has just had 150mm added to the cabin height. It's now a permanent change to the build standard which came directly from conversations with visitors at SCIBS last month.
The idea wasn't new. We'd actually been discussing it recently. But standing at the show and talking to serious offshore cruisers confirmed what we suspected: headroom matters, and 150mm is the difference between comfortable and genuinely livable offshore.
That's how it works for us. No two Voyager builds are identical. Every boat we complete makes the next one better - better from owner feedback, better from builder instinct, and better from the conversations we have with people who actually use these boats in real conditions. And we love that!
If you've been watching the V930 Series 2, this is the next one to watch.
