A high profile 65m MY currently in French Polynesia is in urgent need of a Temp Head Chef for an immediate start.
A private trip with the owner (10 guests) the vessel has already done provisioning and guest preference sheets. The chef can largely make their own menus and cook their strengths with the produce already sourced.
There is a sous chef onboard who will take care of crew and assist the head chef
Drop off guests in Bora Bora early August and the chef can finish around the 3rd or 4th August
Must have a valid passport, STCW, ENG 1 and ideally located in Aus/NZ/Asia

The Program

The Role
As Sole Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of the galley, delivering exceptional meals for the owner, guests and crew.
The owner enjoys fresh, healthy cuisine with classic flavours and has specific dietary requirements, including diabetic-friendly meals. You should be confident preparing a wide variety of international cuisines, with experience in:
• Indian
• English
• Chinese
• Japanese
• Seafood
Your responsibilities will include:
• Full galley management, provisioning and budgeting
• Menu planning for owner, guests and crew
• Preparing high-quality, healthy meals tailored to dietary preferences
• Daily crew meals
• Maintaining exceptional hygiene and organisation within the galley
• Working closely with the Captain and crew to deliver a first-class onboard experience
Ideal Candidate
• Previous yacht chef experience preferred
• Professionally trained chef with a strong culinary background
• Confident preparing a wide variety of international cuisines
• Excellent provisioning and organisational skills
• Calm, flexible and positive attitude

The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Cook/Stewardess or Chef to join a private 30m+ expedition yacht embarking on an unforgettable South Pacific adventure.
This is not your typical yacht position. The program is built around exploration, surfing, diving and fishing, travelling well beyond the usual cruising grounds to discover some of the world’s most spectacular and remote destinations.
The yacht will cruise Fiji throughout 2026, before returning for an exciting Indonesian surf expedition in 2027, with the owners ideally seeking someone who would like to return for the next adventure.
With just five crew onboard and low guest numbers, you’ll become an integral part of a close-knit team where everyone works together and enjoys the incredible experiences along the way. Crew are encouraged to join the water activities whenever operationally possible.
Responsibilities
• Prepare fresh, healthy meals for guests and crew
• Create simple, high-quality menus focused on fresh produce
• Cater predominantly to a Keto-style diet featuring quality meats, seafood and salads
• Provision efficiently for extended periods in remote cruising locations
• Manage food storage to maximise freshness during expedition cruising
• Maintain exceptional hygiene and galley standards
• Assist with interior duties where required if joining as a Cook/Stewardess
• Work collaboratively within a small, hands-on crew
Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience cooking onboard yachts or within private households
• Stewardess/Cook candidates encouraged to apply
• Qualified chefs welcome, however formal culinary qualifications are not essential
• Strong provisioning experience, particularly for remote destinations
• Confident producing healthy, nutritious meals

The Opportunity

This hands-on role is responsible for the day-to-day presentation, organisation and smooth operation of multiple luxury residences. The successful candidate will maintain impeccable housekeeping standards while also assisting with household administration, event support and coordination of external contractors.

Responsibilities
Executive Housekeeping
• Maintain immaculate presentation throughout the primary residence
• Complete daily, weekly and seasonal cleaning schedules
• Laundry, ironing, wardrobe organisation and garment care
• Linen management and seasonal wardrobe rotation
• Household organisation and storage systems
• Grocery purchasing, pantry management and fresh produce sourcing
• Table setting and meal service preparation
• Stock management of household supplies and amenities
House Coordination
• Coordinate contractors, maintenance and specialist service providers
• Supervise external housekeeping and cleaning teams
• Arrange clothing, jewellery and household repairs
• Monitor household equipment and organise servicing where required
• Manage household inventories and consumables
• Report maintenance issues to the Estate Manager
Additional Property Support
• Assist with the presentation and readiness of additional family residences across Sydney and the Central Coast
• Coordinate guest arrivals and departures
• Arrange linen services and property preparation
• Stock homes ahead of family or guest arrivals
• Provide support to housekeeping teams during busy periods
Family & Administrative Support
• Assist with private family events when required
• Support general household administration
• Assist with organisation of children's areas and family spaces

Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will possess:
• Previous Superyacht experience OR within a luxury private residence, UHNW household or executive housekeeping role
• Exceptional attention to detail

• Advanced laundry and garment care knowledge
• Wardrobe and household inventory management experience
• Strong communication skills
