Join us this Sunday the 15th at the Penrite 100 Classic at Phillip Island for an incredible day of historic motorsport.

We’ll have the Superformance LLC. GT40 and MKIII-R Cobra on display, and both cars will be heading out first thing in the morning for the parade laps.

Come down, say hello, and see and hear the glorious thunder of these legendary machines on track. There’s nothing quite like the sound of a proper V8 echoing around Phillip Island.

Released at SEMA 2025, the CSX10000 Series Super Snake pays tribute to Carroll Shelby’s legendary personal Cobra, the original “Super Snake.” Marking 60 years of the iconic roadster, Superformance and Shelby Legendary Cars unveil a modern interpretation that trades nostalgia alone for serious firepower. Under the hood sits a supercharged 7.3-liter Ford Godzilla V8, producing more than 1,000 horsepower.
“The Shelby Cobra Super Snake honors the mighty roadster built for Carroll Shelby in the 1960s,” said CEO Lance Stander, calling it the new “king of the road.”
This is far more than a vintage silhouette. The CSX10000 rides on Superformance’s safety-tested rectangular box frame with a TIG-welded ladder chassis, modern crumple zones, and a fully independent suspension with adjustable coilovers. Stopping duties are handled by standard Wilwood power-assisted disc brakes, while available driver aids—including power steering, ABS, and even traction control—help tame the immense output of the Godzilla-powered Cobra.

Production is limited to just 20 rolling chassis, each carrying a serialized CSX10000 number.
Pricing starts at $255,900 AUD, making the Super Snake an instant collector’s piece—for those bold enough to actually drive it.
