What a fantastic time as usual at CollieMotorplex thought I would get the OMS out for its final outing with me as it will be up for sale shortly
Not the best of weather I fancied a crack at the short track record but it wasn’t to be be with the on and off showers on the Sunday Saturday wasn’t much better but got a break in the weather to get a run and managed a PB time came away with 2 class wins and 2 outright wins for the weekend
But the for me was the huge applause my son Phil Morley received for the time and effort he has put in to the Speed Event Series over his 5 years as coordinator well done mate
Thanks for the help with my car over the weekend I hope to return the favour next year

Great weekend away at the Bunbury sprint haven’t had the race suit on for a year so that was a worry but I’m not as fat as I thought I was ( more beers ) in the navigator seat again with a great mate and great driver who I seem to bring the best out off 🤣🤣 Simon Gunson we only came down to have a jolly but ended up with the class trophy so that’s 2 out of 2 appearances in the silly seat with Simon brought the van down with my lovely wife Lin and she let me play all day xx great event and great people

10 years ago after destroying half of the rear end of the OMS when a chain broke at the Australian Supersprint nationals in Tasmania and a huge effort from the team we got back out just before the last run of the weekend and won the Australian title
We cannot do what we do with out a dedicated crew made up of family and friends
