Opus Precision LLC Launches PPG Heavy-Duty 2nd Gear Upgrade

Opus Precision LLC, in partnership with Pfitzner Performance Gearbox (PPG), announces the new Heavy-Duty 2nd Gear Upgrade for the 2024+ Can-Am Maverick R, 2 seater, 7-speed DCT transmission.

This upgrade directly addresses the factory 2nd gear’s vulnerability in high-horsepower applications. It replaces the weak OEM components with PPG’s precision-machined, high-strength gears featuring upgraded metallurgy, advanced heat treatment, and reinforced tooth profiles for superior load capacity.

Direct drop-in replacement for factory 2nd gear set

Engineered to support 300+ horsepower and increased torque

Enhanced durability for repeated high-load shifts

Optimised for the Maverick R’s DCT under extreme conditions
