Lock it in ladies and gentlemen!! The 2028 Speedway Sedans Australia National Modified sedan title is set to converge on Dubbo City Speedway Club from the 14th-16th of April 2028! If the last NSW Modified sedan title hosted at Dubbo is anything to go by, then the National title is going to be epic!
2028 TITLES ANNOUNCED!
Speedway Sedans Australia is today pleased to announce the host venues for the five National SSA Titles in season 2027/28.
Kicking off Title season will be the SSA Junior Sedans, heading to the Western Speedway, Hamilton in Victoria. As is now traditional, the event will be held in January to coincide with school holidays. This will be the fifth time the Title has been held in Victoria, and the first time it has headed to the Hamilton venue.
A month later teams will head up the coast to Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway in Queensland where the SSA Super Sedan National Title will be held. This will be the fourth time the venue has hosted the Title, the first since 2005/06 when Kevin Purton won his second Title.
Action kicks off again in March when Tyrepower Manjimup Speedway in WA hosts its first ever National Sedan Title. After the success of the venue hosting a number of WA Titles in recent years, the team is now ready to present the SSA Production Sedans on the National stage.
The SSA Modified Sedan Title will be next on the calendar, with Dubbo City Speedway Club playing host over the Easter long weekend. Dubbo has only held one National Sedan Title previously, back in 2014/15 when they hosted the Production Sedans and are sure to make the most of the opportunity.
A week later the Title season comes to a close when the SSA Street Stock Title returns to the Ellenbrook Speedway. The event will be held just prior to ANZAC Day and will be the first time since 2010 when event saw an epic alphabet run from Jamie Oldfield, an atmosphere Ellenbrook will be keen to replicate!
