I got the tyres off at Brashernats but it was a frustrating drive that's for sure 😆
I found it really hard to do this burnout, the number one thing on my mind was throwing a rod the last time I did a burnout. It makes it really hard to abuse an engine knowing I have to fix it so I couldn't really bring myself to revving the engine hard at all.
The 360 camera has pretty bad scratches now unfortunately, I did lose my power steering on the tip-in also (its the wiring) but the pad was very cold & slippery. I did nudge a tyre when the camera flew off and from there I just knew I stuffed the burnout completely.
Thankfully the awesome pad crew managed to find the camera 👌

Next years requirements will be a fuel cell to be used as a catch can 😆 My car used to do it pretty bad, I found cold engine oil is a major culprit.

Brashernats Burnout wasn't really one of my best, but I got the tyres off. I lost power steering on the tip in but no excuses lol
Burnout went for ages also, got myself in an austin powers moment at the end 😆

11 years ago I used to drive 3.5 hours to work on my car, I had to drive from Newcastle to my dads property as I was renting a duplex at the time. I had to save up my holidays to get a month off work to respray it. I had to get a personal loan to finish the build as the priority was racecar back then.
First event for it was Powercruise Sydney and I drove it to Sydney thrashed it all weekend and made it halfway home as I broke a lifter and had to phone a friend 😆

Killer video this one from .festival the alternator belt survived, the car had no issues besides a tyre fire.
Successful day testing how the car handles, all ready for brashernats 🔥

These 3 changes are all I do going from drifting to burnouts, I also race the car how I have it setup for burnouts except I fit big slicks on the rear.
