Pretty confident this conversion is going to happen at some point in the near future, after I sell that engine I have for sale as its a rather expensive conversion.
That drift night the other week finally showed me some of the disadvantages with the th400 especially when using the handbrake but also controlling the wheel speed. I have heard enough positive things about the g101a dogbox to have faith I shouldn't break it.

Everyone in the pits was walking around with a smile, there is a reason drifting is growing in popularity and its simply very fun.
This night cost around 3k to take this car out and blast 6 sets of tyres, so like everything fun It's expensive to do.

The exciting part for me is the 8000rpm blown bbc bolted together by myself did 6 sets without a spanner to it and didn't spit any oil out into the catch can 💪

North circuit drifting at Sydney Motorsport Park in McFry with the new 509 blown bbc. 6 sets of tyres done for the night and no issues besides a barrier tap 😆 Cranked Motorsport Drift night was so much fun 🥳

FOR SALE: 36k
568ci merlin bbc sold as a long engine with some accessories.
Made 1060rwhp on a low boost of 12psi, motor is built for up to 30lbs of boost.
Sump and headers to suit hq hz Holden standard engine location.
Its all very fresh and has done little work, I have a full youtube video of the engine going together.
Valvetrain will handle 8000rpm without issues.
What you see in the photos is essentially what you get (not the one with it in the car lol)
Happy to remove oil pan for buyer and check bearings etc, I have done a leak down test and all cylinders are great.
I don't want to sell someone junk so essentially happy to do whatever within reason to show its quality built bit of gear for buyer.
All machine work done by BG engines.
Engine would likely make 680rwhp naturally aspirated.
Peak power is generally around 7000rpm so it really doesn't have to be reved hard.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Intake manifold, blower, injection or carbs etc. A remote oil filter like a clearview etc. Flexplate, remote water pump, then hose plumbing, also a car 😆
All the accessories up front were really built around using an engine plate, New alternator.
What the engine has inside:
4.25 lunati signature series crank, 6.385 oliver max plus rods with arp 625+ bolt upgrade, je flat top pistons 4.610" with skirt coating, ap steel rings, thickwall pins, 9.4 compression ratio. Cometic head gaskets. All top quality coated race bearings used.
It's built for reliability this engine more then all out race, camshaft is .660 lift solid roller custom grind. Spring pressures are over 320lbs on seat. Dlc coated .904 bam lifters.
Valley deburred, screen fitted in valley.
Heads are proflow 360cc heads ported and fully upgraded, arp head studs, jesel pro series rockers with steel exhaust rockers, titanium retainers, pac 1300 series springs, ferrea valves, inconel exhaust, 3/8 thickwall pushrods, savy 4 stage dry sump with accessorie drive on rear. Jesel belt drive, rcd crank support 58T pulley. Modified moroso oil pan to fit into hq hz.
Headers are 2 1/4" primary custom with egt bungs for hq hz.
Only reason for sale is I don't need it, it was only removed as I fitted a new aluminium engine to the car.
