The transition to zero emissions doesn't just happen on the road, it also starts in the classroom and workshop.

Foton Mobility Distribution is building the zero-emissions workforce of tomorrow through a national network of training partnerships, including TAFE NSW, TAFE QLD, TAS TAFE, TAFE SA, TAFE WA, Federation University, Deakin University, MTA QLD and Kangan Institute.

From EV fundamentals to hydrogen safety and on-site operator training, FMD is ensuring technicians, fleet managers and operators have the skills to support next-generation vehicles before the demand outpaces the workforce.

Looking back on an incredibly proud day for Foton Mobility Distribution in Nowra.

What made this moment so significant was not just the start of construction on our new facility, but what it represents for the region, for Australian manufacturing and for the future of clean transport.

It was fantastic to see industry partners, government representatives and local stakeholders come together to mark the occasion and celebrate what is being built here on the South Coast.

This facility is a long-term investment in local skills, local jobs and sovereign manufacturing capability, and a sign of our commitment to the region for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone and to the many people helping bring the project to life.

We had an incredible two days in the Hunter Valley, showcasing our all-new Foton 8.5 Tonne Electric Truck and Institute’s KRW Hydron Prime Mover, with plenty of test drives throughout the event.

It was fantastic to hear such positive feedback on everything from driver comfort to the real-world performance of the vehicles.
