Deepwater Motor Boat Club Reunion This is an open invitation to all members of the Deepwater Motor Boat Club to attend a re union on th Again any photos please send them to me.

Invitation to all past DMBC members and friends to attend a reunion at The Heeley Ranch of the banks of the Hawkesbury River at Ebenezer on Saturday 8th/9th Nov. This is a one off
Will you please express your interest and if possible send any photos / videos to me at [email protected]. If you decide to attend there is accommodation on the property. All you need to do is to bring a tent, toothbr

ush and your grog. Additional entertainment will be the running of the Bridge to Bridge Ski Race on both days. I will provide photos of the venue and display any on this page as I receive them. There will be a special tribute to all the members who have passed away. Hoping we get heaps of support

John King had this idea that if he pointed the boat towards the moon it would be quicker. Was it ? who knows but it was one hell of a ride.
I sat backwards, as the observer, in the Bridge to Bridge ski classic in 1981 ( I think ) of course working all night to get it going.
If ever your in Windsor, drop into Windsor Seafoods and ask Barry Lane, the owner if his arms had recovered after skiing 72 miles.
I can still the pain in Barrys face every time the boat leaped in the air. I thought it funny at the time until a plug lead came adrift and apparently it was the observers responsible to put it back on.
No backing off, there was permanent finger nail marks gouged in the side of the boat where I was hanging on.
Always an adventure, there was never a dull moment.

Just want to confirm details for reunion weekend

You may or may not know that it is the bridge to bridge ski race, always a great weekend.

All are welcome

You can;

A/ come either day
B/ come both days
C/ camp,we have plenty of room
D/ main reunion starts 4pm Saturday

Would greatly appreciate if you could let me know by Monday 3rd if you are an A B C or D for catering and facilities it is BYOG.

If you just want to drop in always welcome
