A few years ago I had a mobile mechanic come to my house to look at my car – it was temperamental with starting. Sometimes would, sometimes wouldn’t.
A man named Mark arrived at my house. He looked at my car to which he told me the fuel pump was the issue – he quoted me, I paid, he apparently fixed it and within a few days my car wasn’t starting again. I called to have Mark come back and look at the car.
Mark came back to my house, looked at the car and apparently fixed it again. He came to my door and filled me in with whatever he had done – he took up the whole door frame and seemed to be looking behind me. When I went to close the door, he pushed it back open and tried to force his way inside asking if he could ‘come in for a kiss’ – not realising I had flatmates home, I called out to them and he quickly left.
I called Ace Mechanics and asked to speak to the manager. I explained what had happened and he laughed at me, called me a liar and denied that Mark would ‘do that’. I was humiliated on the phone by the manager.
I came home from work the next day (by train because the car wouldn’t start that morning) to find Mark at the front end of my car which was odd because all of the ‘work’ he had done was at the back end. I confronted him and he was demanding the paper work he had left (issues reports and receipts). I’m assuming he wanted the paper work so he could take it and claim to have never been there if I reported his misconduct to the police. It was in the glovebox of the car. I got in the car, shut and locked the door and wound the window down slightly – he tried to sn**ch them out of my hand through the gap in the window, I pulled back and called out hoping a neighbour would hear. He went to the front of the car with a screwdriver saying he had to ‘check something’ before quickly taking off. Upon driving the car to my sisters straight after, it broke down on the motorway - he had stabbed holes in the radiator with the screwdriver according to another mechanic. Although I should have reported him, I was young, humiliated and afraid – he knew where I lived and had already damaged my car.
I don’t know if Mark still works there but either way, management enabled and refused to investigate serious allegations against one of their staff members. I do not recommend anyone, especially young, vulnerable woman, to ever use this company.

I cant believe there is a fb page for tis s**t company!! this is my google review incompetent auto electrician, wrote of the brake problem connection with my caravan without even properly checking the system, didn't bother to check the wiring under the hood, then deemed my electric brake unit to be a s*&% brand and stated that I should get a refund. offered to disable the braking system so I could still tow my 1.8 tonne caravan and go on my holiday, when I pointed out that my car can only tow 800kg unbraked he shrugged and still charged me $77 for his time. numerous calls to the company have fallen on deaf ears, I want my money back please please please DO NOT get this company out for help they are crap and a rip off. I would give them no stars but google won't allow it THANKYOU MELISSA FOR YOUR REVIEW, THEY ALL HELP!

Another unhappy customer review:

Truly disappointed with the service I received. I told the first operator I spoke to the problem I had with my vehicle, "no power to fuel injectors" which was diagnosed by racv, the mechanic arrived spent an hour and charged me over $130 to then tell me "no power to fuel injectors" and no further action. When I voiced my disappointment I was told "we have to do our own checks" therefore they perform random checks that take up to an hour to ensure they make money. It took the mechanic seconds to actually check the power to the fuel injectors only after he spent an hour looking at other random components on the vehicle. Would not recommend to anyone !!

Sad to hear we are still getting stories of how useless this company is, and are still allowed to do business! Please keep sharing and spread the word not to use these guys!
