Brake upgrade today .
Installation of 2001 brake callipers from the Millenia with the larger discs (296mm diameter) into the 1999 Eunos 800M . (Original diameter 274mm) .
Small increase in diameter but improved stopping !!

This is why it’s best to do a cam belt replacement properly and do everything…dismantling an engine for a full rebuild I...

I’m thinking whoever installed this had no idea what they were doing .. the seal was present but damaged … motor had oil...

Stripping down and rebuilding another Miller Cycle Engine … no history on this motor and couldn’t verify the km at all … discovering lots of interesting damage etc ! Here’s a pic of the cam belt guide that had failed ! Motor has a nice new supercharger in it but whoever installed it left all the intake tract bolts lose along with untorqued bolts all over the motor .
Oil leaks and exhaust leaks all over the motor … worst on the rear bank .

July 2000 Mazda Eunos 800M... one of the very last built...75,000km and now finished for now... rebuilt engine , new supercharger , new lowered suspension with 2002 millenia struts , new interior, new fuel tank and pumps. Millenia wheels for now but will have RX8 5 spokes eventually...

All re-installed in a day.
