One of the most unexpected spots of the year: an exposed carbon-fibre Pagani Huayra on an extremely rare outing through Richmond and into the C*D yesterday — on one of the wettest days of the year, no less.

Thanks to everyone who sent it in, including B o b y S u b a g y o on Swan Street, James Noble at The Westin, and tj. for the initial tip that prompted us to go and take a look for ourselves. The last few are from Blake Lan who spotted it exiting onto Collins Street this morning.

There really are people out there learning to drive in a Porsche 911 (997.2) GT3 RS. Epic spot, Christopher!

It’s not every day you see an Alfa Romeo 8C Spider!

One of two in Melbourne, their outings are few and far between, largely on account of their left-hand drive configuration.

The 8C’s 4.7L V8 has gone down as one of the best sounding of its time. All up it would have cost more than $450k post taxes and import costs at the time of purchase, which seems like a good deal today.

Amazing spot, Declan!
